NEC inaugurates its first demo room in Spain: a space that exhibits an ecosystem of audiovisual solutions
Large format screens with 4K resolution, Touch equipment and innovative projection systems are the main protagonists of the demo room that NEC Display has just inaugurated in Madrid. A space where a visualization and projection ecosystem has been created with comprehensive solutions that will adapt to the client's needs.
NEC Display Solutions yesterday inaugurated its demo room in Madrid, “the only one of these characteristics that we have in Spain and one of the few that there are in Europe”, explains Federico Haba, head of NEC Display Solutions Ibérica. “It has been created with a double objective. On the one hand, publicize our solutions and services and, on the other, have an environment for training and where to celebrate different events, especially oriented to vertical markets”.
Regarding vertical markets, NEC Display has an important presence in the digital signage environment, being very representative in the retail segment. “2014 is being a very positive year for us, especially in this market. To 2015 “Our technological commitment will revolve around UHD screens and laser projection”.
As we already mentioned in Digital AV Magazine, This demo room has been designed as a meeting point for partners and clients to discover the company's new products and services. A multipurpose space that seeks to provide greater knowledge and training about the brand.
In this space of 95 m2 of surface the solutions and products belonging to the five ranges of NEC DS are exposed: projectors, desktop monitors, large format screens, software and services.
The current configuration has complete equipment that highlights the company's main innovations "but it will change depending on the announcements that are made and the events that are organized.". There will be a series of products that will be fixed but others will be replaced to respond to the needs and requirements of our clients.. The objective is to create an ecosystem that serves to sell our products but also for our clients to sell theirs”, adds Federico Haba.
This demo room is defined by Carlos Rojo, sells manager AV Channel Display Solutions, as “a dynamic environment that reflects what can be done, and we reproduce it with the content of our clients”.
In this space, no differentiation has been made between a projection area and a viewing area.. What has been attempted is to integrate all systems to show real and comprehensive solutions.
In current configuration, you can see the range of 80 inches represented by a system of 1.20×1,80 tall connected to a PX750U projector. “This is one of the most demanded screens at the installation level, which is shown as an alternative to the video wall”, explains Carlos Rojo.
The V Series is represented by a model of 65 inches with 4K resolution multi-touch 450 candelas. “This has been one of the teams that has had the best reception in the corporate and educational environment. Incorporates OPS (Open Pluggable) and can be controlled from a wireless keyboard. “It is also ideal for digital signage applications in shopping centers.”.
However, One of the equipment in which NEC places more importance and which they consider to be one of the most outstanding in this room is the Full HD equipment of 4.000 M402H lumens.
Designed for video conferencing applications, The E654 monitor is displayed in the room, a Full HD device that is sold with a base and speakers, and a multi-touch computer 23 inches offered 10 touch and it is presented, as explained by Carlos Rojo, “like a hybrid between a desktop system and a presentation table”.
With touch technology, the P Series model shows the functionalities presented by this family that is being very well received for airport applications.. “In this segment we have an important installed base in Spain. We can say that we are present in the 80% of Spanish airports. For example, At T1 in Barcelona we have installed around 2.000 screens and we are also participating in the renovation of its visual park”, comments Federico Haba.
In this room you can also see solutions such as Hiperwall, Field Analyst, Leaf Engine, Display Note, ShadowSense touch technology or free, exclusive NEC tools: Own glare, Stacking Gemotetric Correction Tool y Naviset 2.0.
