DJs from around the world create their EDM music with Matrix SSL at the Wynn Studio in Las Vegas

New EDM recording studio at Wynn resort in Las Vegas will feature SSL's Matrix console and Sigma remote mixing engine.

The Encore-Wynn luxury hotel complex in Las Vegas has been the location chosen to establish the Wynn Studio, an EDM music recording and production studio, designed and built by Luca Pretolesi, which has become the meeting point for the most prominent DJs in the world.

The hotel complex has several clubs where the world's most important DJs such as Avicii perform., David Guetta, Afrojack, Deadmau5, Zedd, R3hab, Diplo, Dillon Francis o Jermaine Dupri. The Matrix console Solid State Logic, whose solutions it distributes in Spain Reads, has been the option chosen by Pretolesi for this project, just like the Sigma remote mix engine, which he also uses in his own DMI studio.

“At first we considered different options to find the right compact console, since Wynn Studio has good acoustics but very little space. The idea was to create a studio that was multifunctional, would respond to the needs of EDM/Dance DJs and adapt to their way of working. All these requirements did not make us look at Matrix which offers the appeal of being an excellent DAW controller”, explains was the incredible Pretolesi.
