The Everis Foundation recognizes innovation in the XIV Entrepreneurs Award

The Everis Foundation has opened the deadline for submitting projects for the 14th call for its Entrepreneurs Award, which aims to promote talent in innovation and research to support entrepreneurship, with a prize of 60.000 euros. Both the winner and the other five finalists, will receive an advisory service valued at 10.000 euros. Applicants for the award must register online before the next 31 March.

This entity will follow criteria similar to those used in Silicon Valley, to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and self-improvement among the best entrepreneurs. Thus, The Everis Foundation will classify the projects into three categories: Information technologies and digital economy, Biotechnology and health, and Industrial or energy technologies, which include applications that are integrated into the field of smart cities.

After a study of the candidacies, in which the level of innovation will be assessed, the business model and the solution proposed for each project, The jury will choose the six best projects from each of the three categories, that they will receive 10.000 euros.

Each selected entrepreneur will present their project to the other participants and to a jury made up of Foundation directors., with experience in business creation. They will give them their opinion on the project and show them the areas of improvement that they should focus on., to make your ideas even more competitive and efficient. After this mentoring process’ based on the business incubator model used in Silicon Valley, A finalist and a possible runner-up will be selected.
