WHEREAS 2015: Exterity guarantees the security and protection of content in its new IPTV range

AvediaStream transcoders, the complete suite of TVgateways g44 series, the latest version of AvediaServer to simplify the operation of IPTV systems and the extension of the Artio middleware platform for content management and screen integration are the new features that Exterity presented during its participation in ISE 2015.

The activity of the IPTV solutions provider Exterity at the recent celebration of WHEREAS 2015 has been marked by a wide deployment of new systems, such as AvediaStream t5500 and t5600 transcoders, which are the first in a new range of products from the company that allow professional AV installers and organizations to stream content over different networks (LAN, WiFi, WAN e) and that the delivery of any content to any device is possible on any network.

The AvediaStream range of transcoders enables an organization to transform content to suit the network infrastructure needs of their business and device types., as well as covering network needs for distribution of content and IPTV streams to large-scale web-based distribution systems and even to unmanaged environments outside the LAN (iOS and Android devices).

Exterity, whose systems the wholesaler sells Techex in Spain and Portugal, also showed professionals the latest extension of the Artio middleware platform, which offers additional options to manage the display of content and the integration of information screens in Artio portals. In this same line, the latest version of AvediaServer -7.0- Provides administrators with extra management and control functionality to simplify the operation of IPTV systems.

Exterity has presented itself at this event as the only manufacturer that offers fully HDCPv2 compatible video in its IP product portfolio., guaranteeing integrators and clients the demanding anti-piracy requirements for the protection of digital content of the industry.

Another novelty has been the presentation of the complete suite of next generation TVgateways g44, that can ingest TV and digital radio from eight multiplexers through an equal number of tuners on a blade from cable signals, terrestrial and satellite.

These TVgateways offer complete content security protocols. The range consists of G4415 satellite gateway (dual DVB-S/S2 y Conditional Access Module – CAM); g4445 gateway terrestre y cable (Quad DVB-T/T2/C/C2 2 CAMs to interoperate with encryption technologies for ingestion and streaming of protected content); g4448 gateway terrestre y cable (Dual RF inputs power eight DVB-T/T2/C/C2 tuners per blade for free-to-air TV and radio channels), 4418 gateway (Octal DVB-S/S2 supporting eight tuners per blade).
