ViewSonic is committed to Spain as a strategic country and focuses its focus on education
ViewSonic's main managers have told Digital AV Magazine what their strategic business lines are in the digital projection and signage environment., as well as the company's position in the Spanish market and its commitment to education.
Bajo el lema ‘A new legend is born’, ViewSonic attended the last edition of WHEREAS 2015 to present its new range of Lighstream projectors and the latest developments made for digital signage, market for which they offer a wide range of retail solutions, restoration, hospitality and education sector.
“With more than 27 years on the market, ViewSonic's mission is to bring new technology to end customers. For us the most important thing is to investigate and identify the needs of each user and, for this, We offer solutions that adapt to different channels. “Our business model is one hundred percent indirect”, comments Cathy Gallego, Marketing Director Southern Europe Channel.
Among the latest innovations presented by the company is the PJD6 series, Integrated into the Light Glass. Equipment equipped with DLP technology “that incorporates many new features in terms of design and functionalities”, aclara Joss Kaldenberg, Projector product manager for Europe.
Another novelty that they have introduced to the market is Super Color Technology., a six-color wheel that ensures that the images reproduced by the projector are true to life without any color distortion.
Digital signage
ViewSonic offers a wide variety of products for digital signage applications that respond to different sectors such as retail., shopping centers and small businesses. But as Cristoph Cyrol explains, product manager Digital Signage Europa, “We not only present products. Our goal is to provide added value to end users. That is why we complement our offer with solutions such as a media player for managing screen content.”.
An ISE, ViewSonic presented a wide variety of new features as a content management solution adapted for fast food chains, an all-in-one digital totem 50 inches, touch and with an integrated media player or a screen 48 inches that includes HD BaseT interface.
In addition, taking advantage of their attendance at the fair and with the help of the software manufacturer Userfull, They unveiled screens of 55 inches with 4K resolution and an ultra-thin frame of 3,8 mm, an ideal solution for video walls.
Education
Spain is positioned for the company as one of the most strategic markets “It is our great bet since it is one of the five key countries for ViewSonic in terms of business potential. We believe there is a great journey. For this reason we are going to invest in the development of the business in Spain”, comments Dan Ly, General Director of Sales for Southern Europe.
Regarding business lines, Digital signage and education are two big markets for ViewSonic in Spain. "He 2014 It was a good year for us in terms of digital signage and we have very good prospects for 2015”, comments Cristoph Cyrol.
