Modero X Series G5: AMX motorized control touch panel

With a 10” touch screen, The new retractable control panel is raised above the table surface thanks to its motor at the touch of a button or remotely via NetLinx, allowing meetings to be held with the necessary technological elements and saving table space if not needed.

AMX, company integrated into Harman Professional, Your new Modero Series X G5 touch control panel is available, with motorized slide functionality to raise and hide it on the meeting table. Presented in the recent edition of InfoComm, This system is activated by pressing a button or remotely through the NetLinx control, well directly, through macros or through self-activation when detecting presence in the room.

Designed specifically for room control, AMX Modero X Serie G5 (see attached video) Features fast, smooth transitions and animations, along with a quad-core processor that provides enough processing power to run applications.

Modero X Series G5 includes, among other innovations, a 10” widescreen capacitive multi-touch screen; Near Field Communication technology (NFC), camera, microphone and Bluetooth connectivity. It also includes a web browser and document viewers as standard..

The low-profile design of this control panel is designed so that when sitting on a table it does not represent a visual obstacle, and is available with a full variety of mounting options.

HydraPort Touch

The company has also improved and updated its connectivity line with the new HydraPort Touch, combining the AMX HydraPort junction box with the ultra-thin Modero S Series touch panel, with the aim of supporting emerging signal standards, USB 3.0, Cat6 and 4K60.

Developed to efficiently connect and control room devices on tables with limited space, HydraPort Touch integrates a Modero S touch panel into a HydraPort chassis. 10 from 7". when it is closed, Unit sits flush with table surface to keep meeting space clean and tidy.

To ensure a premium quality experience, HydraPort Touch combines an ultra-slim panel design with solid, high-quality materials. A spring-loaded hinge ensures smooth, precise opening and closing. The wide range of control and automation possibilities from the integration of the Modero S touch panel with HydraPort make this an innovative modular connectivity solution.

Besides, HydraPort Retractable Cable Modules (RCM) and independent cable families have been improved and expanded to include six new cables that support new signal standards., such as USB retractable module 3.0, which provides access to all audio devices through a single laptop connection, video and Ethernet connected to a meeting room.

Three new retractable modules for 4K60 HDMI digital video are added to the above, DisplayPort y Mini DisplayPort, that support the transmission of 4K video content to 60 frames per second, with a bandwidth of up to 18Gbps.

For its part, the retractable Ethernet module is updated to the Cat6 standard, that meets end-to-end infrastructure cabling requirements.

With the goal that HydraPort users can quickly share their content by bringing it to the screen during collaboration sessions, AMX has also introduced the MyTurn font selection solution, so that by just pressing one of its buttons, Meeting participants are able to change the font displayed on the screen to share their content.
