Denon DN-304S: powered speakers for multimedia production, education and business

The Denon DN-304S system is made up of two boxes, each of them composed of a woofer of 4 inches of high excursion and a tweeter of 1 inch ferrofluid cooled.

Denon Professional, through its distributor in Spain Gaplasa, has introduced the DN-304S compact self-powered speaker system, ideal for business and educational environments, as well as in multimedia production.

The DN-304S system is made up of two boxes, each of them composed of a woofer of 4 inches of high excursion and a tweeter of 1 inch ferrofluid cooled.

The tweeter is mounted on a proprietary waveguide that controls dispersion, ensuring optimal coverage in the listening area, free from the reflections of designs with too wide dispersion and the 'shadow' zones produced by designs with too narrow coverage.

The left speaker contains the system's stereo amplifier, con 20 W per channel, that uses a class A/B architecture.

Class A/B amplifiers have better headroom and overdrive characteristics compared to the class D amplifiers typically used in powered speakers., and this is a key factor to achieve the sound quality of the DN-304S.

The boxes are made of MDF, a dense, acoustically inert material that prevents the case from vibrating and decreasing system clarity. Ease of use and flexible connectivity are also important considerations in the design of these Denon devices..

The volume control is located on the front panel of the left speaker., as well as an auxiliary minijack input to connect other devices and a headphone output to provide the possibility of private listening..
