4K World Summit will bring together world experts in UHD for the first time in Spain

La cumbre 4K World Summit, which will take place for the first time in Spain 5 al 6 next November, will bring together in the city of Seville world experts and companies that lead 4K-UHD technology in all its areas, from content creation, distribution, coding,…to the latest equipment with the aim of promoting its development.

Organized by the producer Medina Media, with the support of the association Digital Communication and the online newspaper Panorama Audiovisual as media partner, the next 5 y 6 November Seville will host one of the largest world events dedicated to Ultra High Definition: 4K World Summit, in which experts and leading companies in this technology will show their vision and trends for the first time in Spain.

This 4K summit will allow registered professionals to have a complete vision of this technology in all its areas (content creation, distribution, transmission, coding,…) with the contribution of experts from France, Brazil, Swiss, Mexico, USA, Norway, United Kingdom, Italia, Argentina or Germany, inter alia.

Experts like Thierry Fautier, president of the World Ultra HD Forum; Andrew King (BBC); Pere Vila (RTVE); Michel Chabrol (Eutelsat); Stephan Heimbecher (Sky Europe); Hans Hoffmann (EBU) Paulo Valente (Cable Europe) will participate in the summit to explain to attendees the possibilities of UHD, the difficulties it faces and the keys to knowing where 4K is heading, What are the most requested contents?, How will the general public access this technology or how a company can make the leap to this technology.

Added to this are the round tables around this technology on how to deploy various 4K solutions in the creation of content that, moderated by Antonio Castillo, director of Panorama Audiovisual, will have the participation of experts from Hispasat, Sony, Ericsson y Blackmagic; or the debate on the alliance for UHD, with representatives of companies like Dolby, Samsung, SES Astra y Grass Valley.

During the 4K World Summit there will also be screenings with the latest UHD productions made in countries like Brazil, Mexico, Germany or France, some with great media impact such as 'Before dead than Lichita', from Televisa.
