This technology collaboration globally promotes access to advanced solutions of collaborative learning in the classroom, both for teachers and for students.
Epson Y SMART Technologies they announced during the fair of education BETT 2016, being held these days in London until January 23, a technological agreement based on the integration of collaborative learning software SMART Notebook interactive projectors of the first around the world with the aim of facilitating access to solutions for collaborative learning and participatory methodology in the classroom.
So Graeme Davidson, responsible for products of Epson Europe underscores it: "educators seek the best solutions of hardware and software that help them to teach effectively and encourage the commitment of the student, as well as results of" optimal learning. This collaboration directly meets the needs of teachers in a participatory, shocking and entertaining teaching; as well as the ability to respond in real time to the needs of the students. By combining these premium technologies for interactive learning, we are providing tools that meet those needs".
The new agreement is based on the collaboration already existing between the two companies (as already said Digital AV Magazine), which has allowed to Epson sell SMART Notebook software along with their interactive projectors in certain global markets from the year 2013.
In this sense, Epson will now include the Notebook software, along with a subscription SMART Notebook Advantage during the first year, in its interactive projectors in a standard way throughout the world. The subscription allows customers to upgrade to any new version of software Notebook during the first year after the acquisition of the equipment, as well as access to technical support and unlock the functions of high quality in it.
Greg Estell, President of SMART Technologies solutions, has shown its satisfaction "expand the scope of our collaboration with Epson so that our offer is global. Notebook allows educators to easily create an engaged, interactive learning in a natural way for both teachers and students, and now they can do it in any interactive projector Epson."
The entire line of interactive projectors Epson has been tested and authorized with SMART to use with the Notebook software, which is fully compatible with the interactive features teams from this manufacturer, as the touch control and the dual pencils. Both companies will offer training and customer support for their respective products, providing a total confidence to educators as they introduce a collaborative methodology in their classrooms and learning spaces.
