The LCT ONE project is the latest 3DExperiencity initiative from Dassault Systèmes
This platform provides real-time data on building usage and technical aspects to optimize energy efficiency and occupancy.. This initiative covers the architecture, infrastructure, planning, resources and inhabitants, so that it is possible to virtually explore the future of a city and its effects on citizens and the planet.
Dassault Systèmes has participated, in cooperation with Rhomberg Group, Zumtobel Group, Bosch Software Innovations y Modcam AB, in the construction of a smart office building.
The LifeCycle Tower building pilot project (LCT) ONE in Dornbirn (Austria) was presented in 2016 at the Bosch ConnectedWorld event in Berlin (Germany). Property of the Rhomberg Group, is equipped with an innovative lighting solution and intelligent control systems, which makes it a connected building that is committed to high levels of sustainability and comfort for users.
The LCT ONE project is the latest 3DExperiencity initiative from Dassault Systèmes to, virtually, represent, Expand and improve the real world through data management, the processes and inhabitants of sustainable cities. This initiative covers the architecture, infrastructure, planning, resources and inhabitants, so that interested parties can virtually explore the future of a city and its effects on citizens and the planet.
3DExperience offers a unified virtual environment for design, simulation and fluid exchange of information between electronic devices, mechatronics and sensors belonging to each system in the objects, smart buildings or vehicles. Real-time monitoring and analysis of Internet of Things system components and operations (IoT) help optimize the next generation of design.
This Dassault Systèmes platform provides the LCT One Project with real-time data on building usage and technical aspects to optimize energy efficiency and occupancy..
This data includes energy usage and savings per luminaire, plant or the entire building, 3D visualizations of occupancy data and a heat map showing occupancy to optimize usage.
Maintenance data includes luminaire failure notifications, the service hours and usage history of the lighting system. Knowledge of preferred lighting scenes helps optimize light settings and increases end-user satisfaction.
“By collaborating with Bosch Software Innovations and other industrial innovators we show how the information offered by a sensor housed in any Big Data repository can be used in real time., and associated with the realistic representation of a virtual environment offered by the Dassault platform. In this case, the 3DExperience building becomes the main reference for planning, Simulation and property operations, explains Monica Menghini, executive vice president, Dassault Strategy Director of Dassault Systems.
Dassault Systèmes will present this and other 3DExperiencity projects during the 'Design for the Age of Experience' conference, which will take place in Milan (Italia) between the 12 and the 13 April 2016.
