The walls of the La Mancha municipality of Talavera de la Reina have been the setting chosen to inaugurate the videomapping show 'Luz de Cervantes' produced by Ibercover Studio, as part of the events of the IV Centenary of the writer's death, which will also stop in the cities of Cuenca and Almagro, with a different staging.

Talavera de la Reina, belonging to the province of Toledo, It has been the first city in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha to enjoy 'Luz de Cervantes' on its historic walls, rated by Gabriel González, coordinator of the events of the IV Centenary of the death of the famous writer, as “a unique show that follows in the wake of Lux Greco's success (more data in Digital AV Magazine).

'Luz de Cervantes' offers videomapping technology executed by the specialist Ibercover Studio a 3D projection show, ten-minute light and sound in which elements of the writer's life stand out, of his characters and works, which is combined with the intervention of two actors who represent the figures of Don Quixote and his faithful squire Sancho; dancers, minstrels, etc. to surprise attendees at each pass.

With an avant-garde aesthetic created by digital artists who have illuminated the Albarrana Tower in Talavera de la Reina, The implementation of this visual spectacle of the Cervantes universe is of great technical complexity that has four professional projectors of great luminosity (two of 40.000 lumens each and another couple of 20.000 lumens), connected by fiber optics and located on a nine-meter-high platform, according to event organizers.

Added to this is a powerful audio system, consisting of the W8LC linear speaker system Martin Audio three way, with eight acoustic enclosures and four subwoofers, especially suitable for this type of events due to its high resistance rigging system, 90º horizontal dispersion pattern and adjustable tilt.

The inauguration of this first screening that took place last weekend was attended by the coordinator of the events of the IV Centenary of the death of Cervantes, Gabriel Gonzalez; the general director of Tourism, Ana Isabel Fernandez; the delegate of the Board in Toledo, Javier Nicolas; the delegate of the Board in Talavera, David Gómez, and the mayor of Talavera de la Reina, Jaime Ramos, who highlighted the great cultural and tourist impact of this show for the region.

The videomapping show 'Luz de Cervantes' will be held soon in Cuenca and Almagro, and in each city the show will be different to offer a different experience to attendees.
