LG OLED technology, one of the visual attractions of the N Seoul Tower

Considered one of the symbols of the capital of South Korea and one of the most visited places, This tower has four spectacular digital signage installations, formed by 248 OLED panels from this manufacturer, which are one of its great attractions due to the quality of the images and the design of the structures.

YTN Tower in Seoul, better known as N or Namsan tower, It is one of the tallest buildings in the world, with a height of 236 metros. Located at the top of the mountain of this name, This communications tower is one of the great tourist attractions of the city, not only for its panoramic views and the services it offers, but it even acts as a 'lighthouse' of the city, changing color depending on pollution levels, festivities and seasons.

One of its great claims are four impressive digital signage installations, made with OLED technology from the South Korean manufacturer LG, with a total of 248 Full HD panels 55 inches that shape a tunnel, an undulating roof, a panoramic design and a circular platform, that show spectacular images of the country's culture and landscapes that envelop the visitors who visit them..

As Choi Yuseok points out, senior manager of YTN, “In the tower we receive 10.000.000 of visitors per year, who are captivated by the beautiful and impressive images offered through these LG OLED panels, which are proof of what is possible to create with digital signage, transmitting a unique and innovative visual experience”.

On the first floor is the OLED Tunnel, made up of seventy 55” Full HD units, in configuration 7×10, that adopt a curved shape in which the visitor experiences an immersive sensation through the images that surround them.

Beautiful landscapes of the city of Seoul when the seasons change introduce the visitor to the Panorama OLED installation, also on the first floor, which forms a curved surface of 15,7 meters thanks to 48 panels with this technology and of equal size to the previous ones, in configuration 4×12. This large narrow frame video wall has the curvature on the inside (incurved).

A spectacular circular structure hanging from the ceiling gives way to the OLED Circle installation, on the second floor of the N tower, composed of ten 55” Full HD OLED units in configuration 1×10, with an external curvature (outcurved), featuring images created by artist Kathy Kleins for LG called Mandalas (Don't worry).

Finally and on the highest floor is the Wave OLED, a wave-shaped roof (incurved y outcurved) of 24 meters long composed of 120 55” OLED panels in 6 configuration×20 that show images of the city sky with a quality thirty times better than that of a UHD television, with real black, as they point out from LG.
