Founders and Christie carry out the largest rear-projected mapping installation in Latin America
Citibank's flagship branch in São Paulo has laser phosphor projectors from the multinational's GS Series, with a total of 100.000 lumens, to create the only digital advertising billboard for this Brazilian city, that works uninterruptedly on its façade and is a permanent source of information, entertainment and culture.

On the occasion of the bank's first centenary in Brazil, those responsible entrusted Founders, Brazilian company part of the group JChebly specialized in digital marketing, digital experiences, solutions and visual content, the mission of transforming said branch into a digital emblem in the heart of the city.
For the opening ceremony of this innovative branch, nineteen GS Series laser phosphor projectors from the audiovisual multinational were used. Christie, generating a permanent projection of 250 square meters in its glass façade that have made it the largest rear-projected mapping installation in Latin America to date.
I have to remember that São Paulo, one of the largest cities in the world, banned advertising billboards 2007 to fight what it considered a growing problem of 'visual pollution'. Consequently, Citibank, Founders and Christie proposed an innovative project to generate a new advertising billboard concept, with the approval of the Clean City Law, becoming the only commercial digital billboard in the city.

Collaborative project
To face the dimension of this project, Chebly emphasizes that “we needed to have the best collaborators to carry out the installation, focusing on quality and safety. That's why we chose Christie, since it has more than eighty years of experience in film projection and twenty-five in the development of digital projection, as well as recognized quality standards”.
The digital installation has been the result “of solid teamwork”, this manager points out, for which several technicians from Founders and Christie were involved, including André Nuvens Ingnez and Daniel Monteiro Pereira, channel sales manager y sales manager business products, respectively, by Christie Brazil.
Christie's nineteen DWX555-GS laser phosphor projectors, with 1DLP technology, were installed on the façade of the office in a rear-projection setup, generating an impressive mapping of 100.000 lumens on the front and side of the office's glass façade, which covers a surface of 250 square meters.
Permanent visual platform
The projection, which is carried out uninterruptedly 24×7, It is a permanent source of information, entertainment and culture, to which artists are invited, poets and media designers to create unique digital content showing their points of view, opinions and love for the city of São Paulo. With laser phosphor illumination and equipped with 1,280 resolution×800 WXGA, DWX555-GS projectors from this manufacturer eliminate the need for lamp and filter replacements, providing 5.400 lumens and 20.000 hours of low cost operation with a small footprint, underweight, silent operation and a complete set of lenses.
