The lighting designer Pere Anglada and the theater director Ramon Simó were responsible for showing the partners, collaborators and sponsors of the AAI how this work has been carried out, the lighting techniques used, with challenges such as 'multi-points' of viewers with the distribution and focuses of the luminaires.

XVI Meeting of Light

One more year the Meeting of Light has been held, an event organized by the Association of Lighting Authors (AAI), with the support of the Grec Festival on its 40th anniversary.

XVI Meeting of the Light Pere AngladaPere Anglada is a member of the AAI and has an extensive career in the field of lighting within the world of theater, photography direction and teaching.

During the meeting and at the end of the work, Pere discovered the peculiarities of illuminating this type of contemporary works, with audiences distributed throughout the stage space, and sharing their way of working, the type of environments that the work suggested and the light sources and colors used to achieve them. He also discovered the way in which he has resolved the 'multi-points' of viewers with the distribution and focuses of the luminaires..

XVI Meeting of LightAs Ramón Simó explains, It is not a work to use, presentation with conflict knot and outcome, but is made up of small dramatic nuclei that deal with different current issues such as racism, sexist violence, terrorism, politics or religion; and shows how this violence takes different forms in the characters, in space, in the language, in the images that suggest.

They are nuclei, fragments that are presented and opened, leaving the viewer a state of consciousness and tolerant participation in a dominant violence.
