Value Event 2016: Ingram Micro reinforces its commitment to the value channel as part of HNA Group
The wholesaler held the third edition of this event in Madrid around its value division, which this year has been starred by belonging to the Chinese industrial group HNA for a week, stop trading on the stock market and become a private company.

In the third edition of Value Event, which has changed to a daytime and debate format “more in line with the business needs of the channel and the month of December in particular”, according to Muñoz, the balance is very positive, as its managers already announced just a month ago at the Symposium 2016 held in Barcelona.

The key has been the dual work with integrators and manufacturers and that will materialize next year with a new portfolio and the creation of Ingram Micro Led”, says Alejandro Rincón, business manager of this area.
The DC/POS area is located in this same line of double-digit growth., one of the largest volume, as well as Physical Security and Unified Communications, or the most recently created ones focused on IoT “with important business opportunities for the channel”.
The vision and consequences for the world economy after the elections in the United States that have brought Republican Donald Trump to the presidency focused the debate of this event, moderated by the president of the Academy of Diplomacy, Santiago Velo, with the contribution of Mª Mercedes de la Guardia, ambassador of Panama in Spain, and José María Peredo Pombo, Professor of International Politics at the European University of Madrid.
Value Event 2016 ended with the presentation of awards to the most outstanding partners of the year, among which we highlight the best integrator of Advanced Solutions solutions for Tecnocom, as well as Pro AV distributor for RPG Computing.
