The festival for the Argentine bicentennial is provided with sound with STS and Powersoft
The audio infrastructure of the main stage was made up of 56 sistemas STS Linea SLA V7+ (16 per side in PA, 11 on the side as reinforcement and 2 para front fill) and the Powersoft DigiMod 3004PFC4 amplification module, with DSP4 processing card. In addition, there was 28 Concerto Infrasub units that worked with seven K10 DSP amplifiers. And to control the system the Armonía software was used.
On the occasion of the celebration of the bicentennial of Argentina, the racecourse in the province of Tucumán has become the stage on which they have performed, for eight days, a large number of national artists. For its performance, a large stage was set up that was provided with sound using systems STS and the amplification of Powersoft.
Equaphon, Powersoft distributor in Argentina and Uruguay and manufacturer of the STS brand, through engineer Eduardo Sacerdoti, provided technical support to the rental company Home Pro to provide sound for the main stage. A sound system that was made up of 56 sistemas STS Linea SLA V7+ (16 per side in PA, 11 on the side as reinforcement and 2 para front fill) and the Powersoft DigiMod 3004PFC4 amplification module, with DSP4 processing card. In addition, there was 28 STS Concerto Infrasub units working with seven Powersoft K10 DSP amplifiers. To control this system, the Armonia software was used..
Due to the magnitude of the event, The production had an approximate audience area of 180×80 metros, that is to say, more than 14.000 square meters. This raised the need to use reinforcements.
Performed system prediction in Ease Focus and adjusted angles for optimal coverage. The reinforcement towers were located at 65 meters of the PA and a length of 100 metros. In this way with 11 boxes per side the necessary coverage could be achieved, especially for mid and high frequencies. After this the system was aligned and the subwoofers began to configure the reinforcements, also using Armonia software.
