Barix will show at ISE 2017 the compatibility of your SIP intercom and paging systems
The manufacturer will show its advances in IP audio technology for integrators and end users at the Amsterdam event, with the compatibility of people location systems with Android and redundancy for PBX telephone systems as protagonists.
Barix, Swiss IP audio technology developer, will be present in WHEREAS 2017 -of the 7 al 10 February, in the hall 8 – Amsterdam RAI stand N270- to present its new people location application 'Simple Paging', developed for mobile phone users with Android system, as well as its new support, based on SIP technology, for redundancy in PBX systems.
As one of the leading companies in solutions for the transmission of advertisements and locating people, During this event you will show how your SIP gateway allows registration in redundant PBX systems; a level of support that allows SIP telephony operators to register devices acting as SIP clients to backup both their primary and redundant PBX systems.
Thanks to it, Barix drives trend among VoIP-focused integrators to bring together intercom applications, public address and music on hold with SIP-based PBX telephone systems, and thus have centralized management and control platforms for practically all communications.
Besides, System integrators also have a more complete solution by enabling redundant audio frames through continuous switching, with the goal of improving and increasing customer reliability and availability in enterprise environments.
For Reto Brader, vp. Barix sales and marketing, “Providing support for redundant PBX systems is the next logical step and a natural progression in our continued support for SIP integration with standalone VoIP systems in intercom and person paging.. Our products provide music on hold and messaging (MoH) for these telephone networks, and we continue to develop other systems for this market in response to customer demand”.
Simple Paging, which was first presented at ISE 2015, provides system integrators with a cost-effective way to migrate obsolete public address and people location systems in schools and businesses to IP systems that offer, additionally, background music, emergency notification and other services over the network.
Besides, End users benefit from the flexibility of locating people from a central station at a fixed location, or else, from a mobile phone on the move using the Barix Simple Paging app.
Although it was previously only available for iOS devices, the Simple Paging application is also for Android, offering the same flexibility to broadcast a general audio message or an urgent alert throughout an entire facility or in specific user-selectable areas in real time.
“The Android application, along with an update for iOS10 devices allows the majority of mobile phone users globally to use Simple Paging, “an indispensable tool to control advertising systems from anywhere and at any time”, Brader assures.
The Barix manager will give a presentation on 'Person location and intercommunication systems in the mobile era' at ISE 2017, which will take place at the Audio Theater next 10 from February to 12:00h.
