Powersoft prepares the new strategy for its Deva Division with Karl Kahlau at the helm

As CEO of this product family, aims to reform global sales and support organization. A strategy that began at the end of December with its sights set on ISE 2017 Where will its global launch take place?.

Karl Kahlau has retired from his position as Regional Sales Account Manager (Europa, Middle East, Africa and India) of Powersoft to spearhead new initiative as CEO of Deva family of products.

Before joining the company in 2013 was responsible for sales and marketing, during 12 years, occupying the position of Export Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Renkus-Heinz. Pioneered sales in Europe and the Middle East of interconnected, self-powered electronically driven loudspeaker systems and, in recent years, together with the Powersoft team, has built sales and support networks in regions such as the Middle East, North Africa and, most recently, India.

“Their experience and knowledge of products and the professional market adapt both to our portfolio and to our corporate culture.. Have it in front, directing the Deva division is a logistical step in the evolution of the product”, comments Luca Giorgi, Sales and Marketing Director at Powersoft.

And Heila, together with the Powersoft Deva team, will begin to reform the global sales and support organization for the product. Plans for the next stage in Deva's evolution began in late December in preparation for its global launch at Integrated Systems Europe. (WHEREAS) in Amsterdam, which will be celebrated from 7 al 10 February, at a stand dedicated to Deva (Hall 7-V200).

The sales strategy, covering vertical markets such as AV integration, security, access control and professional audio, has been designed with a hybrid approach, to maximize access to projects and distribution network, but maintaining strong service and support, based on brand.

Deva family

The main focus on Deva has resulted in maximizing the potential of an IoT product that integrates a wide variety of technical and functional features. The center of the equipment is formed by an internal self-powered audio system, a high definition video camera, a motion sensor to trigger various functions and a high-power Led light for night surveillance.

The entire system is housed in a cabinet with IP65 protection rating., interconnected within standard Ethernet network topology.

Deva, additionally, Contains a wide variety of sensors and control functions such as built-in GPS with Google Earth distribution and environmental sensors for temperature, humidity, etc. It is self-sustaining, using solar panel to recharge power and WiFi/UMTS/3G/4G for communication and interconnection. The network system can be controlled through the Powersoft Deva Device (PDD) manager or through a tertiary interaction.
