Crescent bets on Powersoft sound for its facilities in New Orleans

The New Orleans Commercial Audio and Video Solutions Provider, Crescent Multimedia Solutions, partnered this summer with Powersoft Audio and since then he has installed his amplifiers in different spaces, as the project carried out in the new building of Zehnder Communications or that of the historic New Orleans Courthouse.

For Cory Ancar, president of Crescent, the size and efficiency of Powersoft's platforms were key factors in implementing them in these projects. "The physical amount of space that amplifiers take up is important to us when we start assembling these large-scale racks.. Sometimes you can have problems when the design leads you to have two racks, but with the architectural series that Powersoft offers we can solve it with a single AV rack and incorporate in it all the amplification we need".

With offices in Baton Rouge (Louisiana) and Nashville (Tennessee), Zehnder Communications has moved its headquarters to a new space in Canal Place, an office and retail building located in the French Quarter area of New Orleans, overlooking the Mississippi River.

"I needed a lot of audio channels, all running from one centralized location. Each zone operates independently, under normal circumstances. So, when I had to start routing audio from all rooms to a central location, the Dante protocol, the DSP and small form factor made everything simpler.", comments Bohrer.
