Eizo and Gefen improve image quality and source management of medical monitors
Eizo's large format visual systems, currently used in hospitals around the world, have improved the number of feeds displayed on the screen thanks to the integration of Gefen DVI Matrix.
The collaboration with The edge, AV signal processing system provider, now integrated into the company Core Brands, allows you to use your DVI Matrix video switch to increase the number of feeds displayed in the large format monitor manager (from up to 8 megapixels) LMM0 Eizo, con diez entradas digitales DVI adicionales.
The Sales Manager at Core Brands, Aaron Hernandez, points out that “it is a pride that Gefen products work with those of Eizo to offer value to cutting-edge medical equipment, responsible for saving lives. Large format monitors have become an indispensable and common element in surgical areas and consultations., as its flexible screen layout significantly simplifies and optimizes workflows. “Now we add more value by increasing the number of images that can be displayed on the screen”.
Eizo's solution is based on RadiForce LS580W, a 58” screen and 8 megapixels, with 4K resolution and the LMM0802 large monitor manager. For operation in the hospital, several medical video sources are connected to this manager so that they can be organized in various designs and displayed simultaneously on the monitor., for which Gefen DVI Matrix integrates with LMM0802 to increase the number of video sources that can be connected.
“This integration offers customers a fantastic opportunity to increase the functionality of their current system without needing to purchase a new one,” says Tom Impellizeri., Eizo OEM Systems Manager. So, Already deployed LMM0802 systems can be upgraded to accept additional video inputs, and new installations with many video sources could use the DVI Matrix and LMM0802 instead of a higher cost monitor manager”.
La gestión de vídeo se realiza a través de la pantalla táctil del LMM0802, and four of the matrix inputs can be assigned equal number of Full HD monitors.
