Crestron deploys secure solutions, simple and scalable for business rooms in InfoComm 2017

The manufacturer presents several innovative products in this event and for the first time in the United States., such as the Mercury meeting solution and the DigitalMedia NVX series, the only secure audiovisual solution so far on the market in a 1Gb Ethernet network.

InfoComm 2017, that today has opened its doors until next 16 June in Orlando (Florida), marks the debut of several new products from the manufacturer in enterprise automation and control technology Crestron, which has a large exhibition space (stand 1900) and an audio demo room (225AB) for professionals to test and learn in detail about these new solutions for business rooms.

Mercury stands out in this technological proposal, the desktop solution for meeting rooms, and DigitalMedia NVX series, which, as Crestron assures, is “the only secure audiovisual Ethernet network solution from 1 Gb”. The new and optimized TSW touch screens for room programming also have a prominent space at the stand., as well as the SSW hall signal for room availability and the Vector speakers, specially designed to cover larger business spaces with high quality sound.

Crestron Mercury

This meeting solution is compatible with any web collaboration application and combines all the essential conferencing and collaboration tools in one easy-to-use, elegantly designed console., including an open SIP conference phone, Bluetooth, Integrated wired or wireless Byod presentation, Remote room reservation with on-screen calendar display and occupancy sensor. Besides, Mercury offers easy enterprise-wide deployment and cloud implementation and management.

DigitalMedia NVX series

This secure network audiovisual solution offers 4K60 video, 4:4:4 and HDR over standard Ethernet 1 Gb, plus USB streaming 2.0, digital signal processor (DSP) Integrated and all-in-one encoding/decoding, at a similar cost to other products on the market but offering lower capacity and security.

Another of its differentials is that it is “an infinitely scalable network audiovisual solution, from a simple configuration from one terminal to another and up to thousands of terminals”, as the manufacturer emphasizes, and only requires DM NVX series encoders/decoders.

Besides, offers in-product network security using standard network security protocols, including 802.1x authentication, Active Directory credential management and SSH encryption.

TSW touch screens

TSW-560 models, TSW-760 and TSW-1060 provide direct connectivity to programming platforms, as office 365, Microsoft Exchange y Google Teems, and can also be used as high-performance touch screens for room programming. Now, all touch screens inside and outside all rooms can have the same layout.

The new TSW touch screens have been optimized for the business environment, with network connection and using standard security protocols, without the need for a control system or programming.

As they point out from Crestron, Finding a free meeting room in a company is easier with the SSW room availability hallway signal, since workers only have to take a look down the hallway and if the SSW Led is illuminated in a bright green color, the room is available, and if it is red, busy.
