The audiovisual services integrator Sono has participated in this cultural event in Barcelona with two 40.000 lumens in blending, managed with Dataton Watchout.

Lighting installations and audiovisual shows have once again starred in the Llum BCN festival, which has just celebrated its seventh edition in the Catalan capital with a broader and more avant-garde proposal, which this year has been concentrated in the Poblenou area and the 22@ technological district.

As part of these events, I am has been in charge of providing the audiovisual equipment for the videomapping carried out on the side façade of the Design Museum building (Museum of Design) and in the pond located at the back of the same building.

for the show Xiu Xiu, which was projected on the side façade of what is known as the 'stapler', two HD equipment was used, with a power of 40.000 lumens each and in blending format, whose image was controlled with the Watchout management system of Dataton, “with which it was possible to perfectly combine the signals of the equipment that operated at each location”, they point out from Sono.

This show of David Torrents and Maurice Gines, transformed the surface into a large visual ear that listened and reacted to the words in a sound and light dialogue. noises, onomatopoeia and animated images in a mapping lasting about six minutes.

The visual effect projected onto the pond on the side façade of the building was created with two projectors. Barco HDX W20 Flex, of 20.000 lumens each. The work Follow the Path, de Bego M. Santiago, represented swimmers projected over the water, in a proposal that synchronized their movement with different geometric patterns.

In total there have been twenty-seven shows, programmed in a tour with artistic montages, 360º immersive projections, interactive swings, 3D creations and international guest artists, like Quebecois Monique Savoie.
