Plantronics Manager Pro v3.11: analysis and management of headphones on iOS and Android devices
Plantronics' new cloud-based software enables IT managers to perform analytics, reporting and management in a large ecosystem of communication devices.
The audio manufacturer Plantronics has presented a series of updates to its SaaS service offering (software as a service) con Plantronics Manager Pro v3.11, the latest version of its cloud software to help businesses manage their audio communication devices faster and more efficiently.
Plantronics Manager Pro v3.11 includes monitoring and reporting features, that allow the remote management and control service to be extended to the manufacturer's headsets for unified communications (UC) connected to iOS and Android mobile devices.
This expansion is done through the Plantronics Hub mobile application, so IT managers can analyze, manage and collect valuable data from the entire range of Plantronics business devices from desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones. This SaaS service is designed to manage the manufacturer's communication devices.
According to Juan Sañudo, distribution manager and software manager at Plantronics Spain, “that an IT professional can collect valuable data from our entire range of business devices, including mobile devices linked to Plantronics UC headsets, It is totally revolutionary. Now they can have a complete view of all the information, with the knowledge necessary to make more informed decisions based on this actionable data”.
Available via subscription, new version of Plantronics Manager Pro allows IT professionals or managed service providers to configure settings, update software and firmware on audio devices, analyze call quality and ensure regulatory compliance.
Cloud-based architecture uses a software agent on the device, Plantronics Hub, as link to cloud client, so IT managers and their partners have a single interface through which they can manage the installed base of headsets.
