Bose Professional ControlSpace: sound processors for commercial applications
Six New ControlSpace DSP Models Expand Bose Professional Sound Processor Line, along with three digital wall controllers.
The new ControlSpace CSP-1248 and CSP-428 commercial sound processors from Bose Professional, brand that sells in the Spanish market If he speaks, offer precisely sized inputs and outputs and simplified configuration for small to medium scale projects.
Designed to serve as stand-alone DSPs in commercial applications, like stores, restaurants, etc; These processors include balanced analog inputs and outputs, RCA inputs, 8 GPI, a GPO, a mute connection, puerto serie RS-232, red Ethernet (for configuration or wall control) and a Bose AmpLink output for easy digital audio connection to compatible power amplifiers.
ControlSpace CSP processors have a quick configuration workflow thanks to the integrated web server and browser-based control software. Similar to installing a wireless router, the installers will use your computer (PC o Mac) and a web browser to access the CSP configuration page.
This real-time interface features live measurement and is designed to augment the natural workflow of business projects with common tasks., how to configure fonts, set thresholds, adjust equalizers and set limiters. This reduces the complexity, as it presents common processing needs for repeatable business applications, minimizing design errors and installation time, all without extensive knowledge of DSP.
Besides, include the following exclusive Bose algorithms, which can be configured through the control software, such as automatic volume compensation -AutoVolume-, continuously adapts zone output levels, depending on the ambient noise of the room (when paired with the new Bose ANC accessory with microphone sensor).
Added to this are the SmartBass dynamic equalization, which increases the low frequency output of small speakers; Opti-voice improvement, providing a seamless transition between music and voice messages, as well as Opti-source level management, to monitor the input level of up to four sources. Source levels are constantly adjusted to maintain a constant volume level between different sources.
Digital Drivers and Updates
Bose has also introduced the update of two popular ControlSpace ESP sound processors with fixed I/O. The new variations of its ESP-1240 and ESP-880 models have been updated in response to integrator needs to include options for Dante audio networking and Bose AmpLink connection.
The new ESP-1240A variants, 1240AD, 880A and 880AD have also changed their appearance, while maintaining the key features of their predecessors.
The new sound processors, ESP-1240A y ESP-880A, They have 12 analog I/O×4 y 8×8, respectively, with an integrated Bose AmpLink output for Cat5 digital connections with the company's amplifiers so equipped.
New versions ESP-1240AD and ESP-880AD have AmpLink and Dante 32×32 integrated. All four ESP models use ControlSpace Designer software for configuration, control and monitoring, and are compatible with expandable network audio systems.
To complement the new ControlSpace CSP and ESP processors, Bose has also developed three easy-to-use digital wall controllers: CC-1D, CC-2D y CC-3D, which feature a rotary encoder and a circular LED ring.
CC-2D and CC-3D models allow you to press the rotary encoder to select A/B or A/B/C/D sources with LED source indicators on the panel. In addition to these digital wall controllers, new CSP and ESP processors are compatible with ControlSpace Remote, to create custom dashboards and install them for end users, so that they have wireless control of their systems from their mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
