Scala helps launch KIA's new brand image in Russia
A total of 180 dealerships are equipped with 540 Scala media players, responsible for managing the more than 500 LG screens of different sizes that are connected to the main KiaTV broadcast system.
Scala has helped support KIA Motors Russia's image change (KMR). New dealerships mix red corporate buildings, large glass windows and a new spatial identity focused on the car show, Attraction points and functional areas.
At the center of these dealerships is Scala digital signage that is responsible for managing communication with customers through multi-screen video walls., Freestanding displays and interactive kiosks.
The project began with three pilot dealerships and has since expanded to cover all KIA establishments in Russia.. A total of 180 dealers have been equipped with 540 Scala media players, who are responsible for managing more than 500 screens LG, of different sizes, connected to the KiaTV central transmission system.
Among the equipment that has been installed in this digital signage infrastructure are video walls, configured with screens 42 y 46 inches in 3x3 and 2x2 formations, and different kiosks that incorporate screens 47 inches.
“Scala's digital signage network allows us to share the latest product, sales, after-sales and brand image information for KIA customers. Scala went from managing a small number of passive monitors to allowing us to centrally manage a wide range of passive and touch displays throughout Russia”, explained Pavel Balan, dealer marketing de KMR.
New KMR dealerships in Russia now equipped with digital signage solution powered by Scala, and has become a standard requirement for new distributors joining the network.
This network infrastructure is managed from KMR's Moscow office and transmits five different content channels over the distributor's network to screens located in various service areas.. Besides, ticker line functionality is used to share social media content via live feeds, combined with corporate and product news.
“Scala allows us to operate with a combination of screens, videowalls, independent monitors, interactive kiosks, as a single system. Its main benefit is that it is not just a product, but a platform with which we can create what we want without limitations”, aclara Denis Savelyev, director of Dismart.
Scala digital signage has enabled KMR to deliver quality content to end users, building trust and providing deeper relationships through digital communication. Screen content across the network is defined by KMR; while the delivery of the full service to manage all network content is carried out by Dismart.
