Dnp Supernova offers shine and definition at the Tokyo racecourse
A 6-inch Supernova Infinity dnp screen has been installed in the main lobby of the Tokyo racecourse.×3 metros, which is accompanied by two projectors 21.000 Panasonic PT-RZ21KJ lumens.
Japan Racing Association Racecourse (JRA) in Tokyo is the nerve center for this sport in Tokyo. Its organizers were looking for a solution for the main lobby that would replace the existing display system and end the problems of low definition and insufficient brightness. They needed high contrast, brightness and definition to deliver images for the most demanding bookmakers and viewers.
To respond to the requirements that were needed, it was decided to install a screen dnp Supernova Infinity of 6,132×3.448 mm, supplied by KIC Corporation, and two high resolution projectors and 21.000 PT-RZ21KJ lumens Panasonic.
KIC recommended a Supernova system from dnp Denmark for its ability to deliver high contrast, even at extreme viewing angles, qualities that have placed the screen among the few that have achieved ISF certification.
“They also allow multiple projectors to be used to create larger, high-resolution images without risking visible overlap.. Besides, the screen is physically easy to manage, which helped us when we incorporated additional protection against the effects of possible earthquakes”, explained from KIC.
Projectors and screen match well with performance and quality. The system displays information about horse racing, results, odds and live payouts, with the clarity and brilliance that participants demand.
“New projection system provides high contrast, with high-definition images that clearly show the number information for a fast racing horse, even under very bright light conditions”, they clarify from JRA.
