Jeollanamdo disaster control center monitors critical information with Barco UniSee
Con un gran litoral de 6.100 kilometers, almost 2.000 islas e innumerables planicies de marea, the area needs to be constantly alert for approaching typhoons and monitor any other potential dangers or crises.

To carry out correct monitoring and manage critical information in the environment, disaster status control center (Disaster Status Control Center) I needed a video wall that displayed sharp, bright images, that allows information to be displayed in real time, with content from a PC or web-based applications to monitor water level, surveillance camera data, weather forecasts, maps and videoconferences.
These sources are collected and controlled at high speed. This allows for the necessary instantaneous dissemination of accurate information and shorter response times., which is crucial for making critical decisions to save lives in a coastal area.
To respond to all these requirements, a 6-inch LCD video wall has been installed.×2 using the screens Barco UniSee.
The video wall had to offer an optimal viewing experience, be reliable and well designed for ease of use and maintenance. Con UniSee View, UniSee Mount y UniSee Connect, Barco UniSee provides the precise capabilities to respond to these needs.
“Barco UniSee has the smallest bezel and the highest brightness, making it visually easy to view and work with. Besides, Sense X, Automatic real-time calibration results in perfect uniformity between tiles, which is exactly what a control center needs”, explained Changwan Sun, a government employee in Jeollanamdo province.
