Barco UniSee II sets a new standard in LCD video walls
This new generation that has developed Barco offers improved image quality, optimal uniformity and ergonomics, and low total cost of ownership.
Barco has developed a new videowall LCD UniSee II, a generation that improves the viewing experience while optimizing ergonomic aspects. It is ideal for applications such as control rooms and meetings, corporate lobbies and experience centers.
The color range has been significantly increased by applying quantum dot technology. This allows rich color content to be displayed more vividly., for a multitude of applications.
Video wall contrast has been increased to high dynamic range levels (HDR), through the implementation of a unit of mini-Led backlight allowing for more refined and precise local dimming. The resulting deep blacks, enhanced whites and more saturated colors allow you to create the desired impact.
Since a video wall should look like a single canvas, individual screens must be perfectly aligned. Mechanically (thanks to the Boat mount), but also optically.
Sense X, that automatically adjusts brightness and colors in real time, has been expanded to also adjust contrast. Thus, presents a unique perfectly balanced canvas, for both static and dynamic content.
Designed to be seen
Video walls are designed to be seen, regardless of ambient lighting conditions, from where you are in the room or the content being displayed.
Barco UniSee II ensures that content always looks good. Advanced polarizer technology delivers consistent performance, whatever the viewing angle.
Reduced eye strain and radiated heating provides the comfort control room operators need. The shine of 800 nits, with the possibility of increasing it locally up to 1300 nits, makes all images shine, whatever the ambient lighting conditions.
The power consumption in actual use of Barco UniSee II is a 20% lower compared to previous generation, thanks to the use of mini-Led backlighting.
Uptime is maximized thanks to the platform's high reliability (with redundancy options for critical components). This translates into a high return on investment (ROI).
“Barco UniSee II is another big step forward for LCD video walls, which is the most implemented technology currently on the market (compared to rear projection and direct vision LEDs)”, states Gerrit Vermeire, Director of Boat Product Management. “Image quality has been perfected with cutting-edge technology to a high level in professional LCD video walls., while respecting the well-being of spectators. Both the overall image and the smallest details are displayed with maximum precision, ensuring that all content stands out and has the desired impact”.
