Canon brings its latest 4K projectors to Spain for difficult spaces: 4K5020Z y LX-MH502Z
Laser diode and yellow phosphor light source, make the 4K5020Z and LX-MH502Z projectors versatile devices, which can be installed both horizontally and vertically, making them ideal for digital signage applications.
Canon Europa has expanded its line of 4K equipment with the presentation of the 4K5020Z and LX-MH502Z projectors, equipment that allows a wide range of possibilities, especially in installation environments with not very large or difficult spaces.
The first has a compact and light chassis and offers a luminosity of 5.000 lumens.
For your part, the 4K5020Z outputs a native 4K resolution of 4,096×2.160, for an investment in future-proof projectors.
Both generate sharp images, Sharp texts and smooth graphics, They have two HDMI inputs, with 4K/60p with a single HDMI cable, plus HDR and 4K at 60p and 30p, respectively.
By using a blue laser diode type light source and a phosphor wheel, The new projectors generate a powerful projection of 5.000 lumens, with detail and intense colors, even in places with a lot of ambient light.
Multiple image settings facilitate accurate playback of content, including DICOM simulation mode, that generates sharp grayscale images for projection of medical x-rays.
The wide range of colors, which is achieved on the LX-MH502Z, thanks to the implementation of a new color wheel that covers the sRGB space, faithful color reproduction is achieved for all types of content.
Thanks to HDR technology, The LX-MH502Z features a large dynamic contrast ratio of 50.000:1, that produces intense colors, nuanced and real, that generate a vivid image.
4K lens
To ensure system integrators can take full advantage of the 4K5020Z's native 4K resolution, Canon has also presented a new 4K lens.
The RS-SL07RST is made of optical glass and produces clean, sharp images with high image quality. With a 1.76x motorized zoom, The RS-SL07RST improves throw range while maintaining perfect geometry.
Besides, The LX-MH502Z features a 1.6x zoom and wide vertical shift, and offers installation versatility for a wide variety of applications.
When projected in a small space onto a large surface, uses a DLP processor to achieve projection of up to 6,5 meters wide.
To facilitate integration, The 4K5020Z has enormous lens shift capacity, of +/-73% vertically (o 104%, in expanded mode) and of +/- 11% horizontally, potentially creating a huge projection surface.
The LX-MH502Z achieves a displacement of +/- 60% vertically and +/-23% horizontally, allowing you to adjust the image without having to tilt or reposition the projector.
Use and maintenance
Designed to radically improve the cost of purchasing 4K projectors, These projectors are equipped with a laser light source that facilitates permanent operation, during 24/7.
With a filter-free construction, The LX-MH502Z has a rated maintenance life of 20.000 hours, no need for cleaning or replacing lamps. Besides, Both feature a quick on/off feature for on-demand use, as well as an Eco mode, which guarantees long-lasting and silent operation.
To further increase control options, A built-in RJ-45 LAN connection provides the device with greater visibility and control, plus compatibility with the Crestron RoomView network monitoring and control system.
Innovative Canon Service Tool app for projectors can be connected to the 4K5020Z, allowing the operator to control the projector through an easy-to-use interface. Available for smartphones and tablets with iOS system, Integrators can control the projector and copy settings to other projectors, saving time on installation. It also offers end-user assistance with bug fixes., time saving, money and limiting downtime.
