A unique audiovisual tour puts the magic around the Harry Potter saga at Fandome Madrid

Until next time 7 January, Fans of this famous magical saga have the opportunity to enjoy a unique tour, where technology is a fundamental element in this interactive space with its fans.

The magic platform It is the activity that houses the multipurpose space Fandome, in the heart of Madrid, so that fans of the saga Harry Potter Enjoy a unique tour through the corridors of Hogwarts Castle, where technology puts the magic in Patronus Experience.

This initiative, 'created by fans and for fans of the saga', can be enjoyed until next time 7 January 2019 on Fandome, with more than 1.000 m2 dedicated to enjoying recreation, life-size videos and dioramas of some of the most iconic scenes and characters.

Added to this is the exposure of more than 150 licensed pieces from two collectors, along with an official store to purchase items, another to have a drink and its own area to carry out activities and chat with other local fan clubs.

The visit begins with arrival at the castle on a simulated train ride, where three synchronized digital screens show images of the route, in which each one has its own audio track to recreate the sound effects, depending on the distance between them, and achieve a more realistic and immersive effect.

The sorting hat will choose a house for the visitor, and you will enter through the famous Platform 9 y ¾. A staircase and a 55” Led screen with an iconic image of the saga guide the visitor to a living room with a fireplace with holograms, which leads to the immersive room.

This space has two projection screens joined together, of about 3×2,60 metros, in which an animated recreation is shown through a computer Viewsonic of 2.500 lumens.

On the ground floor there is no shortage of potions room and an interactive book, that detects the temperature of the visitor's hand so they can turn the pages and learn the magic recipes, as well as replicas to take photos with and display cases with private collector's items.

Multipurpose space in the center of Madrid

The technology used in this exhibition is part of the installation and integration carried out by the specialist in content development and audiovisual equipment RenderArea for Fandom.

“Until now it was a great space in the center of Madrid, in the Goya area, that was not used and that has been created structurally and technologically from scratch, in just five weeks, to turn it into a multipurpose environment in which to celebrate events of all kinds and exhibitions like the one we have now”, explains Miguel Bollaín, founding partner of RenderArea.

In this sense, All showcases and systems are mobile to adapt to the events that each client needs. “All the installed equipment is controlled with online servers,” explains Bollaín., to load the content you need at any time”.
