Allen & Heath takes to ISE 2019 a new range of Dante I/O cards for installations

Compatible with AES67 and Dante Domain Manager, These are unique portable and wall-mountable I/O solutions for audio installations., along with two new optional Dante cards.

WHEREAS 2019, that from tomorrow and until the next 8 February is held at RAI Amsterdam, counts again with the participation of Allen & Heath (hall 7 – stand K-200), which presents its new range of Dante-compatible products at the event, including portable and wall-mount I/O solutions intended for installations, plus two optional cards, compatible with AES67 and Dante Domain Manager.

DT168 provides sixteen mic preamps and eight line outputs in a stage box format, especially suitable for mobile applications, thanks to its rubber bumpers and handle, which can be placed on a stage or used as an expander.

For your part, DT164-W provides sixteen mic preamps and four line outputs in a versatile wall-mount design, specially designed for permanent installations. Reversible mounting frame allows for both wall and recessed mounting.

This unit is also compatible with a standard Nema 12 enclosure×12” the equivalent, as well as standing in a hole in the floor of a stage. The IEC mains power input can be replaced by a cable gland module and screw terminals for fixed installation, and a backup 12V DC power supply is supplied.

Martijn Verkerk, Allen installation product manager & Heath, explains that “DT168 and DT164-W respond to requests from consultants and integrators regarding Dante connectivity, that breaks the conventional rack mount format. Both models incorporate Allen's renowned preamplifiers & Heath, combined with converters to 96 kHz to offer the highest sound quality via Dante; Primary and Secondary ports for serial connection or redundancy via EtherCon connectors, and are compatible with DM and CDM MixRack / MinFrames de Allen & Heath and SQ Series Mixers.
