The Zhengzhou Art Palace center renews its sound system with DAS Audio equipment

The sound system of this cultural space in China is based on two groups, each with six Aero 20A line arrays as the main system, with DASaim optimization tool, and two flown LX-118A subwoofers in each cluster, all controlled and monitored by DASnet.

Among other requirements, The new sound system had to be powerful and adaptable enough to meet all the needs of this versatile space., from ballet performances and dance shows to opera and symphonies by leading national and international groups.

The DAS Audio system installed for the venue's sound system is structured in two clusters made up of six Aero 20A line arrays as the main system., with integrated DASaim optimization tool (thus avoiding the installation of boxes at the rear), along with two flown LX-118A subwoofers in each cluster, in a left/right configuration on both sides of the stage for uniform coverage of the main PA, all controlled and monitored by the DASnet remote control system.

As they point out from this company, "normally, Subwoofers are floor stacked for powerful low frequency. Taking into account the situation of the premises, this will increase the frequency too low for the front seating area, but it will cause a lack of frequency in the upper seats. Added to this is the installation of four Artec-526 speakers, located at the front of the stage for spectators located at the front, and four Vantec-12A as stage monitors, also controlled with the DSP4080 audio management system and DASnet.

One of the challenges of this project is that the renovation of the interior decoration had not been carried out., so there was no possibility of rewiring, with the difficulty of adding speakers for padding.
