Avixa will hold an AV over IP training session at Afial Ibérico 2019
Jose Mozota, instructor of the Association of Audiovisual and Integrated Experiences, will offer this educational session, free entry, the next 6 March in the contest.
The visitors of Iberian Afial 2019, which will be celebrated in the next 6 y 7 March in the Tejo room of the Altice Arena in Lisbon (Portugal), will have the opportunity to attend the training session of Avixa (Association of Audiovisual and Integrated Experiences), that Jose Mozota will teach, instructor of this association (in the image).
In his presentation, this expert will explain the bandwidth needs that an AV over IP solution requires, will identify the latency and image quality ratio of various compression solutions, in addition to providing guidance on how to choose the best solution for each need..
The session, free entry (prior reservation of a place through the Afial Ibérico website, in the section Training), will be celebrated on 6 March, at 11:30 hours, fruit of the collaboration of Avixa and Afial (Manufacturers Association, sound importers, lighting and audiovisual technologies).
“We are delighted at the opportunity to offer educational content on a very current topic in the sector at this important Iberian event,” explains Chris Lavelle., Avixa development director for EMEA-. The growing interest in AV over IP makes it increasingly important to understand the applications and possibilities of this signal distribution method. Afial Ibérico represents a fantastic platform to provide training on the Peninsula”.
The development of 4K and the signal bandwidth that comes with it, increased by HDR and higher bit color spaces, has led to new compression technologies and the trend of 10G networks to reduce latency and improve image quality.
Mozota's presentation will address the relationship between the three fundamental parameters of any AV over IP system: bandwidth, image quality and latency and their impact on the cost of the solution.
Mozota, PhD in Electrochemistry from the University of Ottawa, He has more than thirty years of experience in Fortune companies. 500, like Nalco and Legrand. He is a certified trainer by HDBaseT Alliance, SDVoE designer and runs his own consultancy, Freman Solutions Incorporated, focused on AV training.
