Retail Forum 2019 shows the comprehensive vision of a sector in full digital transformation
More than 180 Experts in the retail sector provide a comprehensive vision of data in this congress, business and transformation trends and opportunities, that this edition has international participation.
The sixth edition of the congress Retail Forum, which is celebrated today in Ifema – Madrid Fair under the organization of IKN Spain, has the support of the most important companies in this sector to present, study and analyze developments such as the evolution towards connected retail, omnichannel acceleration, technology applied to the point of sale or the delivery revolution, among other topics.
More than 180 experts will offer a comprehensive analysis and vision of all retail areas to more than 1.500 registered attendees at this event, that you will learn about in different presentations, work spaces and in the exhibition area advances in smart retail to improve customer experience and loyalty, in-store product customization and logistics agility systems, and how to move forward in collaboration with new online market players.
One of the attractions of the congress is The store of the future, a specific space that recreates a physical store in which the latest technologies have been installed to improve the experience at the point of sale and generate more value and business opportunities, that attendees will be able to try and test.
Among other technological solutions, This intelligent commercial space has heat maps to know the influx of buyers not only within the establishment, but during their journey through it and the areas in which they spend the most time or capture their attention; interactive visual systems, with large-format digital screens equipped with facial recognition and smart fitting rooms.
This intelligent commercial space also has beacons, smart carts that allow you to shop without having to wait at the checkout to pay, sensory and digital marketing strategies and artificial intelligence to manage the business more efficiently, among other proposals.
One of the new features this year is international participation in the congress, with success stories from retailers like Media Markt in Germany, Hackett London in the United Kingdom and Kiko Milano in Italy, who will show how the sector is transforming in other countries.
The director of the event, Trinidad Villar, has included Luis García Cristobal, general director for Spain and Portugal of UnionPay, to inaugurate the edition 2019, who highlighted that “we are all committed to the customer, who is the one who decides. “We have to debate and engage in conversation with them to achieve success.”.
For your part, Villar has pointed out that “From Retail Forum we want to promote a new retail, with a global vision that brings together data, omnichannel, digital, store experience, digital transformation and marketing. If all departments work aligned, the sector in general will benefit”.
