Sony will market its first 8K televisions in June 98 y 85 inches
The ZG9 Led Full Array HDR 8K model offers a resolution sixteen times higher than Full HD, with extraordinary image quality.
Available from next June, just as announced Sony Europe, Master Series ZG9 LED Full Array HDR 8K televisions offer images that faithfully convey the intention of their creators, with surprising color and contrast quality, along with a sharpness close to that of a professional monitor.
Master Series TVs include Netflix Calibrated Mode and IMAX Enhanced to ensure content is delivered just as it was intended. To do this, they incorporate the latest generation Picture Processor X1 Ultimate processor., that provides high-precision details and contrast.
This processor plays a fundamental role in the transmission of high-quality images of these devices., since it integrates an exclusive algorithm, specially developed for 8K, that detects and analyzes each object in the image intelligently, achieving very precise details and contrast, and images that are more realistic and faithful to the intention of their creator.
Sound is also a key piece of the viewing experience. ZG9 models include new Sound-from-Picture Reality, which faithfully reproduces the position of the sound on the screen, so that when the actors speak it seems that the sound comes directly from their mouths, instead of the speaker at the bottom of the TV.
Sony's goal with these new ZG9 models, with sizes of 98 y 85 inches, is to improve the experience offered by a large format screen in a living room. To deliver superior image quality on such large devices, Sony introduces more resolution through its first 8K HDR TV for the residential market.
With twice as many horizontal and vertical lines, 8K technology provides four times more pixels than 4K (a resolution sixteen times higher than Full HD), the result of which is a more immersive viewing experience. Thanks to it, These large rigs look great up close., without practically being able to differentiate the pixels.
As screen size increases, The processor plays a more important role in transmitting superior image quality. Using our own algorithm, Picture Processor X1 Ultimate is optimized to handle the 33 million pixels of 8K.
This same processor allows the new 8K X-Reality Pro to upscale any content to near 8K quality, using a new database this resolution, that achieves more precise and detailed scaling.
Besides, ZG9 series features new 8K technologies, como Backlight Master Drive, with full array local dimming, y 8K X-tended Dynamic Range Pro. In the first case, The ZG9 model has ultra-dense LED modules that are independently controlled, offering optimal contrast, with an intense shine and absolute blacks.
To get the most out of this backlight system, 8K X-tended Dynamic Range Pro uses saved energy to intelligently increase brightness in areas that require it.
Precise sound positioning is another key factor in large TVs. Sony has transferred the experience obtained thanks to its Acoustic Surface Audio of the OLED range to the Acoustic Multi-Audio of the ZG9 Led Full Array, which uses four front speakers (two at the bottom and two at the top). Besides, has a TV Center Speaker Mode for home theater setups, that turns the TV into the center speaker, to which is added Dolby Atmos technology.
The ZG9 model also features X-Wide Angle so that images retain their quality and true colors regardless of the viewing angle, reducing color shifts when viewing the screen from the side. Besides, X-Motion Clarity reduces motion blur without sacrificing screen brightness.
