Acciona reinforces its position in the events sector with the purchase of Auriga

Acciona Productions and Design (APD) has reached an agreement to buy the events agency Charioteer, with the aim of consolidating in this sector and offering clients a comprehensive service for the management of their brand.
APD is committed to growing in the events area with the incorporation of Auriga, recognized agency in Spain in the production of events, which has a consolidated client portfolio and a team with extensive experience.
Balba Camino, CEO of Auriga, will be director of APD's events division, depending on the director, José María López-Galiacho.
Auriga was created in 1999 as an agency specialized in sporting events and has expanded its activity and clients to become a global events agency, with a team of 75 professionals. In 2018 designed and executed more than 225 campaigns and developed about 800 events in diverse sectors such as automotive, drinks and spirits, technology, decoration, beauty, communication etc.
Acciona Productions and Design (APD) was founded in 1990 and has a team of 200 professionals in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
He has carried out emblematic projects such as the museographic implementation of the National Museum of Oman and the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center in Yekaterinburg., the production of multimedia content for the National Museum of Qatar or the design and execution of the House of European History in Brussels. Currently carrying out the first phase of the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo and the Sustainability Pavilion for the Dubai Expo 2020, inter alia.
