Samsung partners with Golden State Warriors to install the largest Led scoreboard in the NBA
The Chase Center, home of this well-known team that has won the prestigious American basketball league three times, It has an innovative video scoreboard -Led Centerhung-, composed of more than 64 Led screens from the Korean manufacturer.
Changing the way fans enjoy live events through technology has been the goal of the partnership between the Golden State Warriors y Samsung Electronics America in this season 2019-20 of the NBA to revitalize sports venues, as has happened with the new Chase Center.
This modern space now has the largest Led scoreboard in the NBA to provide an incredible and different experience to fans, thanks to the installation of more than 64 Led screens, including central video screen.
This spectacular visual solution is divided into several areas to follow the game from all angles, although the action is on the field. The central video scoreboard is made up of several screens, the one on the external flanks being the largest and from which all the action that happens on the floor can be followed live.

The design, supply, manufacturing and installation has been the responsibility of Prismview, a Samsung company, whose CEO, Don Szczepaniak, emphasizes that the project “has taken years of planning and working together with the Warriors to ensure that the structure of the Led Centerhung and the Led screens had all the weight and engineering requirements to offer an amazing experience.”. “It has been an exciting challenge”.
Samsung Led screen technology installed in the Chase Center provides a detailed and realistic image, ensuring every fan is immersed in the action from their seat. New Led Centerhung main scoreboard adds 900 square meters of active video display, which have made it the largest of its kind installed in a sports stadium.
The central screen integrates fifteen screens that vary from 6,7 mm pixel pitch in the main and in the upper ring of the halo, until 4 mm pixel pitch in the lower ones, accumulating a total of more than 26,3 millions of individual LEDs.

To further elevate this experience, Samsung and the Warriors agreed to install the first Led screen on the exterior wall of the West entrance of the stadium, with 10mm pixel pitch and prepared to withstand any environmental condition, from San Francisco, which already offers a preview of the technology that can be experienced inside.
In addition to this outdoor system and the Led video scoreboard, Samsung's visual technology is also distributed throughout the interior of the venue, with a total of 53,6 million LED pixels.
