Philips PDS expands the functionality of its proTV MediaSuite range with Airtime streaming
This proposal for the hotel sector allows users to broadcast their own content instantly and have Premium entertainment services on this range of professional televisions.
The collaboration of Philips Professional Display Solutions (PDS) con Airtime aims to integrate new functions into its proTV Mediasuite range in the hospitality sector to improve the user experience, with instant access and without the need for hardware to more services.
Philips MediaSuite, the manufacturer's first range of professional televisions with integrated Chromecast, allows users to broadcast their own content (photos, movies, music, presentations, etc.), instantly and up to 4K resolution, from your laptop or compatible mobile device (IOS, Android o Windows) with the push of a button.
Thanks to the collaboration with Airtime, Hoteliers can offer guests the option to watch movies from major Hollywood studios weeks before they are available on other consumer services; as well as award-winning plays and documentaries from leading TV stations with no prior subscriptions required, and guests simply pay for what they see.

Richard Excell, product manager de Airtime, points out that this collaboration allows “offer our benefits to hoteliers using MediaSuite Pro TVs. Guests can access our rich media library, with more than 150 titles and in several languages. A zero Opex model is also available for hoteliers offering free in-room entertainment, as well as for those who want to offer a premium package that includes a selection of complimentary content”.
