Twenty Spanish audiovisual integration companies have met, under the umbrella of this association with the objective of strengthening the value they play, in addition to analyzing the lack of qualified professionals in this industry.

The recent celebration of WHEREAS 2020 has been the framework chosen to hold the second meeting of the AV integration business committee promoted by the association Avixa (Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association), in which around twenty Spanish integrators have participated with the aim of strengthening the value they play in the audiovisual channel ecosystem, look for points of common interest and fight against intrusion.

Specifically, They participated in this meeting 36 professionals (28 in person and another eight by videoconference), that represented twenty of the main Spanish audiovisual integration companies, who provide qualified services to guarantee a professional result to clients, maximizing the efficiency and productivity of AV installations, thanks to the deep knowledge of this type of systems.

Among other topics, During the meeting, the problem of the lack of qualified professionals in the industry was addressed and how Avixa can contribute to professionalizing the sector.. In that sense, Yoav Slimobich, account director of this association in Spain and Portugal, He gave an account of the workshops given in different Spanish universities and technical schools so that students learn about the opportunities and potential of the audiovisual sector..

Slimobich also informed those present about the preparation course for the CTS certification (Certified Technology Specialist) -Recognized worldwide as the leading credential for audiovisual professionals-, that the association has recently carried out in Spain with the support of Maverick AV Solutions, NEC Display y Vision.

The members of the advisory committee of Avixa AV integration companies have established an action plan that includes the creation of different working groups and the convening of new meetings to advance other initiatives that make them stronger agents in this industry, thus contributing to greater professionalization of the sector.
