The operation between Lifesize, cloud video collaboration solutions developer, Serenova, solution provider contact center as a service (CCaaS), has materialized with the investment firm Marlin Equity Partners, as financial sponsor, which will continue to invest and support the growth of the combined business to address unified communications as a service (UCaaS), which represents a market of 60.000 million dollars.

with the merger, the new company will cover the union of both technologies, UCaaS y CCaaS, by offering a platform contact center, including a professional cloud-based HD video solution. Both technologies have been recognized by Gartner, in their respective Magic Quadrants.

The new entity will allow clients to offer a wide range of communications – contact centers and videoconferencing solutions – and a new generation of unified, omnichannel experiences for business collaboration. The company will provide customers with support on a global scale, with personalized local support through its network of partners in more than one hundred countries around the world.

Craig Malloy, founder and CEO of Lifesize, will be the CEO of the new company. For your part, John Lynch, until now head of Serenova, will assume the role of senior vice president of sales and will provide strategic oversight of key global accounts.
