Sodexo trusts in Altabox's capacity control system for its corporate restaurants

The system measures capacity in real time, integrated into the digital signage of the facilities managed by this business specialist, hospitals, museums, universities and colleges.

As part of its global program to support organizations in post-COVID-19 adaptation, calledRise with Sodexo, This service specialist has begun to incorporate security measures and capacity control in all its corporate restaurants.

In order to guarantee a safe return to work environments, educational, cultural and health, as well as its common areas and, particularly to catering areas, Altabox has developed new technologies and digital solutions for Sodexo that improve and guarantee the safety of diners, as one of the strategic bets in this new scenario, where safety and prevention are key.

To this end, Sodexo has opted for flow and capacity management and control systems through 3D sensor technology, that accurately measures the capacity of each restaurant area in real time, properly managing the recommended capacity at all times.

This information is shown to customers thanks to the integration with the digital signage available in these restaurant spaces., who can see the occupancy of the dining rooms instantly on these screens. This same channel also serves to influence safety messages, physical distance, hygiene and health prevention recommendations.

The technological implementation of these solutions in restoration has been carried out by Altabox, retail technology services specialist, restoration, corporate environments, etc; in which Sodexo has trusted the capacity analysis services, management of digital signage of some of its centers and the broadcast of relevant content for visitors.

These technologies have been launched through the BeWin solution for capacity analytics and integration with the CMS developed by Altabox, which already serves Sodexo in five countries (more details of this project in Digital AV).
