The control room and command center of the police in the German city of Dresden has recently been equipped by the audiovisual specialist SmartMetals with a large video wall made up of twenty-four monitors NEC Display 55” multisync and Full HD resolution.

Este videowall, in configuration 8×3 and especially indicated for application in environments 24/7 or in facilities that require a demanding activity, offers both static and moving content.

Because the walls of the room were not strong enough, this dutch manufacturer, recently acquired by the multinational assembly systems company Vogel’s, offered its floor video wall support solution. Besides, On both sides of the command center there are two rooms, each equipped with a video wall in configuration 2×2 with wall mount.

All SmartMetals mounting systems are based on standard solutions, which in this project have been floor to ceiling and floor to wall with an appropriate height and horizontal profiles, with built-in Push-to-open system, so that in case of monitor failure, the wiring is quickly accessible or can be replaced in the shortest possible time.

For this project, The Dutch manufacturer delivered all the assemblies pre-assembled and numbered with the aim of helping the integrator during their installation..
