Bose Professional brings its technology to traditional Mexican cuisine
An audio system made up of FreeSpace and Panaray speakers has been installed in the La Canasta restaurant., as well as PowerMatch and FreeSpace amplifiers, ControlSpace processors and the ControlSpace Remote application.
La Canasta is a well-known Mexican restaurant, located in Saltillo, a prosperous industrial city located in the north of Mexico. When you decided to renew your spaces and modernize the audiovisual system to offer a better customer experience, the audio infrastructure was one of its key elements.
The integrator was in charge of the project Avintech. “We were asked to meet several objectives: use the best technology available, make the speakers integrate with the decoration, that the system was very intuitive to facilitate its daily operation and, in summary, “They wanted to create a pleasant atmosphere that would allow conversation.”, explains Héctor Martínez, its general director.
To respond to these requirements, designed a complete solution based on technology Bose Professional. In this way, Speakers from the FreeSpace and Panaray series have been used, PowerMatch and FreeSpace amplifiers, ControlSpace processors and the ControlSpace Remote application.
In addition to the restaurant area, a new mixology bar and a beautiful terrace, La Canasta offers private and semi-private rooms for holding events. So Avintech designers decided to distribute the audio in four different zones to achieve the necessary coverage and control..
The new space in La Canasta, It's Copper, a bar specialized in mixology, designed to attract a young clientele. Works as a separate audio zone, as it offers a different musical programming and a higher volume level, compared to the rest of the restaurant.
Besides, It has a small stage where live bands perform. In this first area, FreeSpace DS 40SE speakers have been installed in conjunction with Panaray MB4, as a booster for low frequencies, and a PowerMatch PM8250 amplifier to provide the necessary power.
A variety of FreeSpace terrace speakers have been used in the remaining three areas. (DS 40SE), the restaurant area (DS 16SE), private rooms and bathrooms (DS 16F), what, for its compact size and design, for both ceiling and surface mounting, They were ideal to integrate with the decoration elements.
For these areas, Avintech trusted the FreeSpace ZA 2120-HZA amplifiers for their wide configuration options.
“To manage the four zones, “We use ControlSpace ESP-880A processors and install the ControlSpace Remote application so that the La Canasta team can easily control the system through various mobile devices.”, comments Héctor Martínez.
The entire system is managed through the ControlSpace Remote app, from volume levels, equalization or selecting audio sources, up to a series of personalized parameters according to the operating hours and the restaurant area. With the help of ControlSpace Designer programming software, The integrator designed a friendly and intuitive interface.
“We had very little time to install and configure the system, so the Bose Professional software tools were a great help to speed up the process”, relates Héctor Martínez. “This allowed us to dedicate more time to the Copper bar system, which required more work because it was a totally new space in which all the design details were taken care of, image, lighting and sound, adds the director of Avintech.
