Life Time Fitness manages its extensive digital signage network with Navori

This infrastructure, which integrates a large number of establishments spread throughout the United States and Canada, has been updated with version 2.2 of QL digital signage software to offer a dynamic combination of information, club entertainment and advertising to more than 3.000 end points.

Navori Good, together with integrating partner Affinitech, continues to improve the out-of-home digital network that it is implementing in Life Time Fitness, extending infrastructure to more than 150 establishments they have in the United States and Canada.

The network has been updated with the latest Navori QL digital signage software to offer a dynamic combination of information, club entertainment and advertising to more than 3.000 end points.

The QL version 2.2 by Navori, flexible and easy to use, simplifies the management of more than 10.000 combinations of weekly content delivered through immersive video walls, interactive kiosks, tablet controlled screens, as well as traditional digital signage displays.

While Navori innovations, like Insane Performance Rendering software (IPR), offer 4K and HD visual quality to attract club members, QL's open architecture helps Affinitech continually strengthen the network. This includes the DDFS application (dynamic data feed scheduling – dynamic data feed scheduling) by Navori, that dynamically retrieves information and content from existing back-end systems to help Life Time Fitness strengthen member engagement, and minimize content management work.

Dave Fleming, Director of Product Development at Affinitech, points out that it would be practically impossible to manage a network of this size and diversity without Navori's DDFS application. Besides, to have its load balancing application that ensures a robust network, segura, resilient and redundant.

While most programs and processes are automated through DDFS, There are manually driven network elements that work in line with DDFS and are especially important for member engagement, and optimize flexibility for Life Time Fitness.

A fitness-oriented program, powered by Navori's LT Connect app, displays members' heart rate zones and allows instructors to optimize workouts. Fitness trainers control the app on tablets during classes and guide members through interval workouts tailored to their heart rate zones.

The same screens, which represent approximately a third of those included in the digital signage network, integrate with DDFS to extract class registration details and other real-time information that is of interest to members.

“This is a very important part of the network for Life Time Fitness that often drives more than 3.500 unique class reservations each day”, afirma Todd Brown, president of Affinitech, who adds that the interactive 'Club Hub' kiosks in each lobby offer more details about class times, monitor information, personal training sessions and gym availability, among other additional information about the club.

This relates to the main operational advantage of Navori QL software. This allows all content to be managed from a single CMS that is easy to learn and use., without limiting the benefits and capabilities of the broader network.

This not only includes interactive and monetized elements, but also larger visual elements, such as video walls and floor-to-ceiling portrait displays. The latter attract members with presentations highlighting relevant trainers and fitness classes.
