Ingram Micro reveals the strategy of the ProAV and UCC division for this year
With the aim of offering more value to its clients and partners, Alex Rincon, head of this wholesale business, presents the organizational changes made and the implementation of the Led area.
With a balance of last year classified as 'challenging', the ProAV business division & UCC of Ingram Micro has presented its strategy for 2021 “knowing that we must continue fighting this pandemic and it will take us much more effort and time than initially expected”, Alex Rincón explained, ProAV & UCC business manager, during a video conference with your team.
Specifically, The work of this business division during the past year has been praised by this manager for “its imagination, tenacity, courage and unwavering commitment. “All this effort has been with the sole objective of offering our clients the best service and quality for the development of the business together”.
In this division's strategy for the present 2021 “There are reasons for optimism about a return to the new normality that we hope for so much.”, and we continue working with emphasis on how to continue offering more value to our customers and supplier partners”, Rincón emphasizes.
For this reason, organizational changes have been made within the division and, with effect from the past 1 January, Jose María Barranco is the new commercial manager of ProAV & UCC.
From his new responsibility, Barranco explains that “we must continue defining an increasingly demanding strategy, since we are in living and constantly changing markets. The pandemic has caused both the ProAV and UCC areas to have new needs and we believe we are providing what is most in demand at this time.: solutions, specialization, commitment and maximum support to our partners”.
Another strategic novelty is the launch of the Led business area within the ProAV division. “Internally we were clear, both with the team and with our suppliers, take this step to support our channel with this range of products that we did not distribute to date”, explains Rincón.
In this sense and with effect from the past 1 February, The division has incorporated Rubén Sánchez into its team to carry out this work. This manager brings more than fifteen years of experience in the market, “with a background of more than five years in the development of the Led business,” Rincón points out.. Your knowledge, both the market and the display business, “They are going to be fundamental to the success of the development of this business area”.
As Rubén Sánchez has pointed out, “The objective of Ingram Micro's new comprehensive strategy is based on covering and providing maximum support to our partners already specialized in LED at the different levels that they demand., as well as so that clients not specialized in this segment can tackle any project with guarantees of success.”.
Additionally, This business division has reinforced the commercial team in the Madrid area with the incorporation of Ainhoa Hurtado, “who will help us develop the business of both UCC and ProAV and complement the current commercial team that we have in the division nationwide”.
In the words of Hurtado: “My goal is to join to transmit all this knowledge and experience to the Ingram distribution channel, helping them in a consultative manner to create technological solutions adapted to the needs and capabilities of our clients”.
