Planar TVF stars in unique immersive installation at Edmonton Library
Two LED video walls Planar, with a high-impact 'V'-shaped design integrated by AVI-SLP, along with high-definition LCD touch panels inspire imagination and interactive learning in this renovated Canadian library.
The Stanley A Library. Milner It is the main headquarters of the Edmonton Public Library (EPL), located in the center of the city of the same name, in alberta (Canada).
Until before the pandemic, more than 1,2 million visitors a year, although it is now temporarily closed and only contactless pickup is available (Library Takeout).
Previously, the library had just completed a major revitalization project, with a complete interior renovation to add new spaces and services with the integration of new technologies.
For this project, those responsible for the EPL they hired the digital service provider AVI-SPL to create a large-scale interactive digital experience in the library's new lobby.
Basically, Two high-impact visual configurations were designed: a larger and more frontal one, with a design in the shape of V, and another smaller one, Located at the back of the first.
Both visual systems - which are generically called The Wall– They consist of LED video walls of the TVF series of Planar, which are integrated with a bottom row of high definition LCD touch panels.
The visual objective of this unique design in the form of V of the front installation has been to create an immersive environment for visitors and their participation in this digital experience.

Planar TVF is a family of Led screens for video wall configuration, with fine pixel pitch 0,9, 1,2, 1,5, 1,8 y 2,5 mm. allowing for stackable and creative design, eliminating cabinet-to-cabinet wiring, reducing the complexity of installation and vertical alignment, which is done faster and easier.
The 27” TVF series cabinets have a profile of less than 3”, which significantly reduces the space of other Led video walls, to which is added its front service to facilitate its maintenance.
