Technische Unie equips its experience center with PPDS solutions

The Dutch wholesaler Technical Union has trusted video wall and digital signage solutions from PPDS for your new experience center, to help and train your partners.

Based in the Dutch city of Eindhoven, Technical Union is a leading wholesaler from the Netherlands, contributing to the progress of companies in all sectors from 1880. To do this, it works with more than seven hundred suppliers from all over the world and has an impressive stock of 280.000 items ranging from retail, health, industry to technical installation for homes.

The company has just inaugurated an interactive experience center at its headquarters, with a surface of 450 m2, whose equipment of digital signage and video wall systems has been entrusted to the Dutch multinational PPDS, in order to provide through these solutions knowledge and inspiration to its partners to achieve more sustainable and efficient work, plus immediate access to information about your products and services.

Training and sustainability

As in PPDS, a fundamental pillar of Technische Unie's business strategy focuses on sustainability, not only in your own business, but in that of the industries and partners to whom it offers its services 24/7.

With the vision of being more competitive, and taking into account that more and more companies are adopting smart techniques in their factories, Technische Unie wanted to create an innovative space to educate and inspire its partners on ways to run their businesses smarter., while providing an environment for customers to more easily learn about and discover the available proposition from suppliers.

For this, This company has partnered with the Dutch integrator, Hugo Janzen AV Projecten B.V and with PPDS to create a complete and innovative audiovisual solution, composed of 46 connected screens Philips Q-Line UHD (from among 43″ y 65″) installed in the new center.

This proposal includes a spectacular multi-screen and wrap-around screen mounted vertically and with custom supports, designed to greet visitors as they enter the new experience center, which will also be used for events and training.

Innovation, management and control

In the new experience center Technische Unie shows real product scenarios and environments, services and solutions from its partners and that the wholesaler provides.

Philips screens are strategically mounted on the walls of each stage, in which complete product information and interactive images are displayed, so that visitors remain informed at all times for more detailed and knowledge-based decision making.

Video content is controlled and managed through an intuitive system Pixilab Blocks, allowing staff to make quick and easy updates in Full HD or 4K resolution using tablets connected to the installed digital signage network.

With technology FailOver de Philips Q-Line, the screens of this experience center “will always remain active, never blank, automatically switching between primary and secondary inputs, ensuring content continues playing even if the primary source goes down”, they point out from the company.
