Genelec speakers 4000 bring Latin music to the nights of Aarhus

Two compact 4020 in a custom bright yellow RAL finish keep the atmosphere alive in break rooms, while control is carried out through a zone system DBX which manages four zones with local control located behind the bar.

“We decided on the 4040 for the DJ/bar area and the subwoofer because, although the goal was background sound and not a full public address system, when the bar is full, noise levels can be considerable. They are very powerful, but the subwoofer adds a little more bass extension for a very full and rich sound, with a lot of room for maneuver. The system purrs more than roars”, explains Vestergaard.

For the mezzanine area, which is slightly away from the bar, Vestergaard has chosen the same approach, but slightly reducing the power. “The objective is for clients to feel surrounded by the sound but not attacked by it.. All you have to do is enjoy the atmosphere and soak up the Latin vibes at comfortable levels for a fun night out.”.
