The association between Panasonic and the Museum of the Academy of Cinematography from the United States aims to introduce visitors to the vast world of cinema with immersive AV technology from the manufacturer.

The new American Motion Picture Academy Museum – he Academy of Moving Images Museum, which opened its doors at the end of last September in Los Angeles, offers its visitors an immersive tour through the history of cinema thanks to the technological collaboration with Panasonic System Solutions North America (PSSNA).

Projectors, screens, lenses and more professional audiovisual solutions from Panasonic have been deployed at this venue to create unique cinema experiences for visitors, while interacting with the movie.

Panasonic's extensive AV equipment installation showcases renowned filmmakers and their films, along with iconic sets, cinematographic props and costumes to configure a unique interactive experience.

To illustrate the stunning visual effects used in epic adventure films, as Jurassic Park y Avatar , the museum uses 4K resolution digital screens Panasonic TH-55EQ1U to deliver optimal image quality.

This system is completed with the manufacturer's laser projectors PT-MZ16KL 3LCD (of 16.000 lumens) y PT-RZ120 (of 12.000 lumens), to deliver bright and vivid image quality, along with accurate color representation for a visually appealing experience.

Besides, the museum uses a wide variety of ultra short throw lenses de Panasonic, that allow visitors to get closer to the projected images without reflecting shadows, offering an unobstructed view at exhibits such as Invented Worlds y Dreamscape.
