The visual spectacle to commemorate the 75 years of India's independence, titled 'Matrubhumi', has had nineteen laser projectors 1DLP D20WU-HS of Christie, each with a power of 20.000 Lumens.

History Red Fort of Old Delhi, a monument of the seventeenth century and World Heritage Site of the UNESCO, has been the framework chosen to commemorate the 75 years of India's independence with a projection mapping show entitled Matrubhumi (homeland in Hindi), of 30 minutes long.

For this event, the iconic Lahori Gate and the surrounding walls were illuminated with nineteen 1DLP laser projectors Christie D20WU-HS, installed by your partner in India MSS World, whose spectacular contents were designed by the 3D mapping projection specialist Knownsense Studios.

"The Red Fort is a world-famous landmark and its main entrance, the Lahori Gate, is the place where the Indian national flag was raised for the first time, the 15 August 1947, to proclaim the independence of our country – Explains Pratik Wadhwa, Executive Director of MSS World-. With a brightness of 20.000 Lumens, improved color performance and high reliability, the D20WU-HS projector has been the perfect choice for MSS World to illuminate the huge red sandstone walls, of 33 meters high, of the Red Fort.

This project follows the successful deployment of more than forty D20WU-HS projectors in Vijay Chowk for the first projection mapping show during the ceremony Beating Retreat of last January.

"Christie D20WU-HS projectors are placed in projection towers overlooking the Lahori Gate and the surrounding walls.. Its compact capabilities, lightweight and omnidirectional gave us a lot of installation flexibility, which reduced complexities in situ. As a result, we were able to offer this visual spectacle in time for the opening", adds Wadhwa.

The show has received such an overwhelming response from the public that the organizers of the Red Fort Festival, such as the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism, have announced that Matrubhumi will become a permanent fixture at this venue for the next two years so that visitors can enjoy this captivating light and sound show.

Colors look natural and real thanks to the manufacturer's BoldColor technology, while the engine of warping and blending Integrated twist and optional automated alignment tools, based on Mystique cameras, make the configuration, alignment, recalibration and maintenance are fast and effective.

To this technology integrated in the projector is added its compact and lightweight design, with omnidirectional capability, for use in complex installations with limited space.
